King Willem-Alexander, Princess Beatrix and Queen Maxima
Yesterday (30th of April 2013) the world watched as Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands formally ended her reign 33 years to the day since it had begun following the abdication of her mother, Queen Juliana.
Immediately following Queen Beatrix signing the instrument of abdication her son Prince Willem-Alexander, Prince of Orange became King Willem-Alexander alongside his wife the new Queen Máxima.
